Ghosting, the act of suddenly cutting off all communication without explanation, has become an all-too-common occurrence in today’s digital age. It can leave you feeling confused, hurt, and wondering what went wrong. Here are 18 reasons why you might be getting ghosted, and how you can prevent it.

This can lead to avoidance rather than confrontation. To prevent this, work on your own communication skills, and be open and honest.

Overwhelming Neediness

If you’re constantly seeking validation or attention from others, it can become overwhelming for them; this neediness might make them feel suffocated, leading them to pull away without explanation. To address this, focus on building your self-confidence and independence, as well as engaging in activities that you enjoy.
